drill team
Synchronized formation performers
A drill team is a group that performs synchronized, precision movements—usually marching, formations, and choreographed routines.
Military drill teams execute ceremonial maneuvers with rifles or flags.
In American schools, drill teams are dance squads that perform at halftime shows and competitions, distinct from cheerleaders: She tried out for the drill team her sophomore year.
