drift car
Tail-out racing vehicle
A drift car is a vehicle modified or designed for drifting—a driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers to lose rear traction while maintaining control through a turn.
These cars typically feature rear-wheel drive, upgraded suspension, and increased steering angle: He built a drift car out of an old Nissan 240SX.
The term applies both to purpose-built competition vehicles and street cars modified for the style.
