drain valve
Tank emptying mechanism
A drain valve is a valve designed to empty liquid from a tank, pipe, radiator, or other container.
Unlike valves that control flow during operation, drain valves exist specifically to remove accumulated fluid—water from a boiler, condensation from an air compressor, or coolant from an engine block: Open the drain valve at the bottom of the tank.
