dovetail joints
Furniture corner connections
Dovetail joints are a woodworking joint where interlocking wedge-shaped projections (tails) on one piece fit into corresponding notches (pins) on another.
The angled shape resists pulling apart, making dovetails prized for drawer construction and fine furniture.
Visible dovetails often signal craftsmanship: You can tell it's handmade by the dovetail joints.
