Two-deep vehicle placement
Double parking is parking a vehicle alongside one that's already parked at the curb, blocking it in.
The practice is illegal in most places because it obstructs traffic and traps the blocked vehicle: I ran out to move my car before I got a ticket for double parking.
In some cities, double parking is so common that drivers leave their cars in neutral so others can push them aside.
