double lutz
Two-rotation ice leap
A double lutz is a figure skating jump in which the skater takes off from the back outside edge of one skate, rotates twice in the air, and lands on the back outside edge of the opposite skate.
The lutz is distinguished from similar jumps by its counterrotational takeoff—the skater rotates against the natural curve of the edge.
She landed a clean double lutz in her short program.
