dots and boxes
Connect-the-squares game
Dots and boxes is a pencil-and-paper game for two players.
Starting with a grid of dots, players take turns drawing lines between adjacent dots.
When a player completes the fourth side of a square, they claim that box and draw again.
The player with the most boxes when the grid is filled wins.
Also called squares or the dot game.
