console games
PlayStation or Xbox
Console games are video games designed to be played on dedicated gaming hardware—PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo systems—rather than on computers or mobile devices.
The term distinguishes them from PC games and mobile games: I grew up on console games but switched to PC in college.
Console gaming typically involves playing on a television with a controller.
