floor meeting
Dorm hall assembly
A floor meeting is a gathering of residents who live on the same floor of a building, typically a college dormitory or residence hall.
Usually organized by a resident advisor, floor meetings cover house rules, upcoming events, safety procedures, or community concerns: We have a mandatory floor meeting tonight at nine.
