doorframes
Door's structural surround
Doorframes are the structures that surround and support doors—the vertical sides (jambs) and horizontal top (header) that form the opening in a wall.
The frame holds the hinges and provides the surface against which the door closes.
The old doorframes had settled, and none of the doors shut properly.
