demolding
Removing from cast
Demolding is the process of removing a cast or molded object from its mold.
The term appears in manufacturing, cooking, and crafts—anywhere something has been shaped in a container and needs to come out intact: Demolding the chocolate requires careful temperature control.
Also spelled demoulding in British English.
