degrees Fahrenheit
American heat measure
Degrees Fahrenheit is a unit of temperature measurement on the Fahrenheit scale, where water freezes at 32° and boils at 212° at sea level.
The scale is standard in the United States but rare elsewhere, most countries having adopted Celsius: It's supposed to hit 90 degrees Fahrenheit today.
Often shortened to just degrees or Fahrenheit in context.
