debadging
Stripping manufacturer logos
Debadging is removing the manufacturer's emblems or model badges from a vehicle, typically for a cleaner look or to obscure the car's identity.
Some owners debadge to eliminate evidence of a base trim level; others prefer the minimalist aesthetic: I debadged my Honda over the weekend.
The practice extends to any product where branding is stripped away.
