day-blind
Sees poorly sunlit
Day-blind describes the condition of seeing poorly in bright light while seeing adequately in dim light—the opposite of night-blind.
The term applies to people with certain eye conditions and to nocturnal animals whose eyes are adapted for darkness: Owls are essentially day-blind.
Also written as one word: dayblind.
