night-blind

Can't see dark

Night-blind describes the inability to see well in dim light or darkness.

The condition, called night blindness, results from vitamin A deficiency or certain eye disorders.

Someone who is night-blind can see normally in daylight but struggles after dusk: He's too night-blind to drive at night.
