cue card
Lines for hosts
A cue card is a card held up near a camera or stage to prompt performers with their lines or talking points.
Television hosts, news anchors, and politicians use cue cards when they need to appear to speak naturally without memorizing a script.
The term also applies to any similar prompt card used in presentations or speeches.
