crossposting

Multi-platform message distribution

Crossposting is sharing the same content across multiple platforms, forums, or online communities simultaneously.

Someone might crosspost a question to several subreddits or share the same video on TikTok and Instagram.

The practice maximizes reach but can annoy audiences who follow the poster in multiple places: Sorry for the crosspost, but I really need an answer.
