counter-magic
Negates enemy enchantments
Counter-magic is magic used to neutralize, deflect, or undo other magic.
In fantasy literature and games, a wizard might cast counter-magic to block an opponent's spell: She raised a counter-magic shield just before the curse struck.
The term also appears in anthropology for protective rituals against witchcraft or hexes.
