coquito

Coconut holiday punch

Coquito is a Puerto Rican holiday drink similar to eggnog, made with coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, rum, and spices like cinnamon and vanilla.

Rich and creamy, it appears at Christmas gatherings and is often homemade from family recipes: My grandmother's coquito is the best part of Nochebuena.

The word is Spanish for "little coconut."
