conversation practice
Speaking skill drills
Conversation practice is the activity of speaking with others—or simulating dialogue—to improve fluency in a language or skill in communication.
Language learners engage in conversation practice to build confidence and natural speech patterns: I need more conversation practice before my trip to Spain.
The term also applies to rehearsing difficult discussions: She did some conversation practice before asking for a raise.
