computer terminal
Screen and keyboard
A computer terminal is a device for entering data into and displaying output from a computer system.
Historically, terminals were separate hardware—keyboards with monitors—connected to a central mainframe: She logged in at the terminal in the library.
Modern usage often refers to software that emulates this interface, letting users type commands directly to an operating system.
