city slicker
Polished metropolitan type
A city slicker is someone from an urban environment, especially one perceived as naive or out of place in rural settings.
The term carries mild contempt, suggesting someone too polished, soft, or inexperienced for country life: The ranchers didn't trust the city slicker from back East.
Sometimes used self-deprecatingly by urbanites acknowledging their unfamiliarity with rural ways.
