cis-het
Straight and aligned
Cis-het combines cisgender (identifying with one's birth sex) and heterosexual into a single descriptor for people who are both: As a cis-het white guy, I try to listen more than talk in these conversations.
The term emerged from LGBTQ+ discourse, often marking the unmarked default—the orientation and gender identity that rarely needs stating.
Sometimes used dismissively: Such a cis-het take.
