circumcising
Removing penile foreskin
Circumcising is the act of surgically removing the foreskin from the penis.
The practice is performed for religious reasons in Judaism and Islam, and for cultural or medical reasons elsewhere.
Circumcising is typically done on infants, though adult circumcision occurs: The mohel was circumcising the baby at the bris.
