church league
Congregation's sports organization
A church league is a recreational sports league organized through religious congregations, typically for softball, basketball, or bowling.
The competition is usually low-key and emphasizes fellowship over athleticism.
By extension, church league describes anything amateurish or unserious: Their security system was church league at best.
