childhood amnesia
Early memory void
Childhood amnesia is the inability of adults to recall memories from their earliest years, typically before age three or four.
The phenomenon is universal—people retain almost no episodic memories from infancy and toddlerhood, though they may have learned skills or facts during that period.
Also called infantile amnesia.
