chemo brain

Post-therapy mental haze

Chemo brain is the mental fog and cognitive difficulties that often accompany cancer treatment—memory lapses, trouble concentrating, slower thinking.

The term originated with chemotherapy patients but now covers similar effects from radiation and other treatments: I keep losing my keys; it's the chemo brain.

Also called chemo fog.
