catsitter
Tabby's temporary guardian
A catsitter is someone who cares for a cat while its owner is away.
Unlike a dogsitter, a catsitter typically visits rather than stays overnight, since cats need less constant attention: We hired a catsitter to stop by twice a day while we were on vacation.
Also spelled cat-sitter or cat sitter.
