caravaning

Mobile home vacationing

Caravaning is traveling or vacationing in a caravan—a trailer or motorhome towed behind a vehicle.

The term is primarily British, where caravan means what Americans call a camper or RV: We spent our holidays caravaning through Wales.

Also spelled caravanning.
