burndown
Flames consume completely
A burndown is a chart tracking work remaining against time, used in project management to visualize progress toward completion.
The downward-sloping line shows tasks being completed: The burndown shows we're behind schedule.
In agile software development, teams use sprint burndowns to monitor whether they'll finish planned work.
Burndown can also refer to controlled fires that consume remaining fuel.
