broiler pan
High-heat cookware
A broiler pan is a two-piece cooking pan designed for use under an oven's broiler element.
The top piece has slits or holes that allow fat to drain into the solid bottom pan below, preventing grease fires and letting meat cook in dry heat rather than its own drippings: The recipe calls for placing the steaks on a broiler pan six inches from the heat.
