To bodyblock is to use one's physical presence to obstruct someone's movement or access.
The term comes from sports and video games, where players position themselves to impede opponents: He bodyblocked me in the doorway so I couldn't leave.
In gaming, it often describes deliberately blocking a teammate or enemy's path.
The past tense works as an adjective: I got bodyblocked trying to reach the exit.
