bobsleigh
Winter Olympic vehicle
A bobsleigh is a racing sled used on ice tracks, typically crewed by two or four people who steer and shift their weight through banked curves at high speeds.
The sport originated in Switzerland in the late 19th century.
Also spelled bobsled, which is more common in American English: The Jamaican bobsleigh team became unlikely Olympic heroes.
