boarding ramp
Ship entry bridge
A boarding ramp is an inclined walkway for entering or exiting a vehicle, vessel, or aircraft.
Passengers use boarding ramps to board planes when jet bridges aren't available, or to walk onto ferries and ships.
The term also applies to ramps for loading cargo or vehicles: The crew rolled equipment up the boarding ramp.
