bec de corbin
Crow-beaked warhammer
A bec de corbin is a type of medieval polearm featuring a curved, pointed beak designed for piercing armor, with a hammer head on the reverse side.
The name is French for "crow's beak," describing the weapon's distinctive hook shape.
Similar to the war hammer and lucerne hammer, it was particularly effective against heavily armored opponents in late medieval warfare.
