backspace key
Cursor retreats here
The backspace key is a keyboard key that deletes the character immediately before the cursor, moving the cursor one position backward.
On most keyboards it sits in the upper right area, often marked with a leftward arrow.
Backspace differs from delete, which removes the character after the cursor.
I hit backspace to fix the typo.
