back handspring
Gymnast's arcing leap
A back handspring is an acrobatic move in which a person jumps backward, lands on their hands, and flips their legs over to land on their feet again—all in one fluid motion.
It's a foundational skill in gymnastics and cheerleading, often performed in rapid succession or combined with other tumbling moves: She did three back handsprings across the mat.
