asexuality
Absent carnal attraction
Asexuality is the condition of experiencing little or no sexual attraction to others.
A person who identifies as asexual may still form romantic attachments and desire emotional intimacy, but lacks the drive for sexual activity that most people experience.
The term exists on a spectrum; some asexual people feel occasional or situational attraction, while others feel none at all.
She came out as asexual in her twenties after years of wondering why she never developed crushes like her friends did.
