arts festivals
Creative community gatherings
Arts festivals are organized events celebrating creative work—music, theater, visual art, film, or multiple disciplines together.
They range from local street fairs to internationally renowned gatherings like Edinburgh or Sundance.
Most run for a defined period, featuring performances, exhibitions, and workshops: We spent the weekend at the arts festival downtown.
