art installations
Curated spatial experiences
Art installations are large-scale artworks designed for a specific space, often immersive or interactive.
Unlike traditional paintings or sculptures, installations transform their environment—viewers may walk through, around, or inside them.
The term covers diverse forms: light projections, sound environments, sculptural assemblages, video works.
The museum's new art installation fills an entire warehouse.
Installations are typically temporary and site-specific.
