public art projects
Outdoor creative works
Public art projects are organized efforts to create or install artwork in shared spaces—parks, plazas, building exteriors, transit stations.
The term covers murals, sculptures, installations, and performance pieces funded by governments, institutions, or community groups.
Such projects often aim to beautify urban environments, commemorate history, or provoke dialogue: The city allocated funds for public art projects along the riverfront.
