apologies
Words of contrition
Apologies is a plural of apology, but it often functions as a standalone expression of regret: My apologies for the delay.
This usage is slightly more formal than "sorry" and slightly less formal than "I apologize." The phrase apologies all around suggests everyone involved owes or receives an apology.
