Anti-Christmas describes opposition to Christmas or its cultural dominance—whether from religious objection, secular resistance to commercialism, or simple dislike of the holiday season.
Someone with an anti-Christmas attitude might refuse decorations, skip gatherings, or complain about carols in stores: My uncle's anti-Christmas rants start earlier every year.
The term also describes entertainment that subverts holiday cheer: Die Hard is the ultimate anti-Christmas Christmas movie.
