Court-ordered leg trackers
Ankle monitors are electronic devices worn around the ankle to track a person's location, typically as a condition of parole, probation, or house arrest.
They use GPS or radio frequency technology to alert authorities if the wearer leaves permitted areas or violates curfew: He was released from jail but had to wear an ankle monitor for six months.
