dash cams
Mounted driving recorders
A dash cam is a small video camera mounted on a vehicle's dashboard or windshield, recording continuously while driving.
Dash cams capture evidence for insurance claims, document police encounters, and occasionally go viral when they catch accidents or unexpected events: The meteor was caught on dozens of Russian dash cams.
