amp-hours
Stored charge measurement
Amp-hours measure battery capacity—the amount of electric charge a battery can deliver over time.
A 100 amp-hour battery can theoretically supply 100 amps for one hour, 50 amps for two hours, or 10 amps for ten hours.
The metric appears on deep-cycle batteries, electric vehicle specs, and solar power systems: The RV has 200 amp-hours of lithium batteries.
