alloyed
Combined with metals
Alloyed describes metal that has been mixed with other elements to alter its properties—steel is alloyed iron, bronze is alloyed copper.
The word extends to anything mixed or diluted: alloyed pleasure, alloyed success.
Something alloyed is not pure, which can be good (stronger metal) or diminishing (compromised joy).
