Zoroastrianism

Ancient Iranian religion

Zoroastrianism is an ancient Persian religion founded by the prophet Zoroaster, centered on the cosmic struggle between good and evil.

Its supreme deity is Ahura Mazda, lord of wisdom and light.

Zoroastrians worship before sacred fires, which represent divine truth.

The religion influenced Judaism, Christianity, and Islam with concepts like heaven, hell, and final judgment.

Once the state religion of Persia, it survives today mainly among Parsis in India and small communities in Iran.
