Waterloo Bridge
London river span
Waterloo Bridge is a road and foot bridge crossing the River Thames in London, connecting the South Bank to the Strand.
Named after the British victory at Waterloo, it's known for its panoramic views of the city skyline.
The current structure, completed in 1945, replaced an earlier bridge and was largely built by women during World War II.
