Wachowski

Matrix director duo

Wachowski refers to either of the two American filmmakers, Lana and Lilly Wachowski, who created *The Matrix* trilogy and other science fiction works.

As an adjective, it describes their distinctive visual style—slow-motion action, philosophical undertones, cyberpunk aesthetics: The fight scene had a very Wachowski feel to it.
